About the Workshop
Attend a free, interactive workshop to help water sector utilities:

  • Share information about how flooding, drought and extreme heat events in the South Central U.S. could impact water utilities;
  • Explore adaptation and resilience building strategies that reduce long-term risk to water infrastructure and resources from extreme events and improve overall utility management;
  • Help participants identify key questions about water infrastructure vulnerabilities to address within their respective utilities or communities;
  • Discuss strategies for making the business case for investing in resilience; and
  • Introduce EPA’s Creating Resilient Water Utilities (CRWU) resources and tools.

Who Should Attend?
The workshop is designed for participants who have the ability to make or influence planning and resource allocation decisions within water utilities and from governmental agencies who work with water utilities. CEUs may be available for eligible water utility participants. Examples of ideal participants include: 

  • Utility leadership, including general managers and executive-level staff;
  • Utility planners, risk managers, and operators; and
  • Federal, State, local, and/or Tribal government staff and managers.
